Indian society and Doctors
Doctors play a significant role in an economy and a country like India. In the rural regions of India there are still notions of treating doctors as life saviors and they are respected as angels who save lives of people.
But over the years things have changed and there are many cases of violence against doctors evidently happening on a daily basis.
India celebrates National Doctor’s Day to honor the work of doctors and other front line medical staff.
