• How to plan a trip to Haridwar in 3 days?

My recent journey to Uttarakhand to the sacred city of Haridwar, turned out to be one of the most meaningful trips of my life. Situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, Haridwar is one of the best cities with spiritual calm, flowing river views, and a culture that instantly soothes the mind. Here is the Day wise Itinerary for Hardiwar Trip from Delhi.

Day 1 – Arrival & Local Haridwar Exploration
Arrive in Haridwar and begin the journey by signing into your hotel. After some rest, start exploring the city with a comfortable local ride. Moving around in a tempo traveller in Haridwar is especially helpful for families and groups, as all major attractions are spread across the city and involve frequent short drives.

Visit Har Ki Pauri, take a peaceful walk along the ghats, explore the local markets, and enjoy traditional street food. In the evening, witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti, one of the most spiritual experiences in India. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Temple Circuit of Haridwar
After breakfast, begin the temple circuit. Visit Mansa Devi Temple via cable car, followed by Chandi Devi Temple. Continue to Maya Devi Temple and Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Using a tempo traveller allows the group to travel together comfortably, manage time better, and avoid parking stress at crowded locations. Evening at leisure for shopping and river walk.

Day 3 – Haridwar to Rishikesh Adventure Trip
Start early and drive to Rishikesh, just 20 km away. Explore Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, and enjoy riverside cafés. Later, experience white-water rafting on the Ganges. The same tempo traveller ensures smooth transfers between activity points and safe return to Haridwar by evening.

    Day 4 – Nature & Departure
After breakfast, visit Rajaji National Park or relax along the Ganges for morning meditation. Complete shopping and depart from Haridwar with unforgettable memories.
This itinerary with Tempo Traveller Service in Haridwar offers comfort, and adventure.

  • What is the Best Time to Visit Places Near Kainchi Dham?

The best time to visit Kainchi Dham and nearby places is from March to June and September to November. In these months, the weather stays pleasant and comfortable, which makes traveling easier. During the summer season, days are sunny but not too hot, and the sky remains clear.

This is a good time to explore nearby hill stations like Nainital, Bhimtal, and Almora along with your visit to Kainchi Dham.

From September to November, the area looks fresh and green after the rains. The cool breeze and calm surroundings make it a nice time for temple visits, short walks, and enjoying nature.

It is better to avoid the monsoon season (July and August), as heavy rain can cause landslides and road problems. Winter months (December to February) are also very cold, which may not be comfortable for everyone. Planning your trip in the suggested months will make your visit smooth and enjoyable.
