✨ The Birth of the Moscow Mule In the late '40s, there was a British pub in Los Angeles that was sitting on considerable excess stock in vodka and ginger beer that had to go as quickly as possible. The owners came up with a more creative way of moving the inventory by mixing both to create what we know today as the Moscow Mule. The final ingredient came when a Russian immigrant walked in with an extra 2,000 copper mugs, partnered with the owner of the pub, and started to use the mugs as the signature vessel for the cocktail that has now become a household name.
