After all of this destruction and the loss of his father, the king, Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider had the option of scraping off what was left his people and look for help elsewhere. The consequences from losing his Sunwell were taking a heavy toll on his own people too the mana shortages threatened to cause them to go insane due to their craving for magic. Kael'thas gave his survivors the title of blood elves, or sin'dorei in the wake of this devastation. The survivors of Warcraft's Scourge invasion of Quel'thalas were able to move into what was left of Lordaeron however Arthas had reduced the majority of it down to rubble and there were few left to salvage the debris with WOW WoTLK Classic Gold.
It is not clear how much of Warcraft's Alliance did not make it to Lordaeron at that time because most of its soldiers and all of its competent leaders were fighting their battle against the Burning Legion a continent away. So, the blood elves came across a man that was to become the catalyst to end any love for the Alliance they had left. Othmar Garithos had been a high-ranking officer who became the leader of all of the Alliance soldiers who remained in Lordaeron Not because of merit, but simply because of sheer desperation. He was a tough uncaring, xenophobic and unreasonable man, one who viewed the entire range races in World of Warcraft's races as less than human.
Kael'thas begged Garithos to help Garithos for help, but the nepotistically elevated Grand Marshal displayed nothing but disgust for the blood-stained elves. He was not willing to let them fight side-by-side with his troops against Scourge. Instead, Kael'thas sent' forces on suicidal missions against the undead of Warcraft, believing they'd never be able to return. As if there was no other choice, Kael received help from the Naga, the snake-like people who originated from the ocean. When word got to Garithos that blood elves had allied with the Naga, he was shocked.
Even though it was evident that sin'dorei only joined with the naga in order to stop their own murder, Garithos used it as an excuse to condemn them to death because of treachery. The blood elves from WoW's Azeroth were imprisoned with WoTLK Gold.
They would be executed if not for Lady Vashj, the leader of the naga joining forces together with Illidan Stormrage together with Akama to rescue them all. The sin'dorei surrendered Garithos with the Scourge. They naturally accepted Illidan's offer of that they would be able to stop the dreadful mana shortages by using fel as a source of power. Kael'thas was eager to accept and lead his people into a future where they could finally get the peace and power they needed.
