  • I did the new years and thats going to be it for me, except for the level packs. (Not weekly.) Nothing wrong with having a punt here and there, after my first year however there's no point stacking coins for a later time when you might be enjoying them today. Shift them, if you've got surplus. Yea it feels like youre right. Ive learning how to play with the market and been holding on. Im hoping for an economy crash. The weekly was awesome for me personally I feel this past week has been my first big L with 2 83s and platinum 81 but I have gotten some wonderful pulls from that. The weeklys arent garbage but the new years package was 100$ and I can't justify another Madden 20 for the buget. And although the automatic platinums are neat, Ive grown to a 90+ team with a bank of coins always over Madden 200k. Im not at all a need of buying them like I was. I am kinda baffled by the MUT group has proceeded since essentially the Color Smash promo. EA makes a whole lot of money from the Ultimate Team mode, and new content is what drives people to buy packs. I really don't know the exact financing, but it seems like there would be a strong Return On Investment (ROI) on paying a few people to constitute promos, create players and art assets, etc., versus what people might spend on packs. EA wants to earn money, so why not they do this? I see two possibilities there's no money. Not enough of a player population/potential pack-buyers to warrant spending any more on the folks who create the material. Move them to endeavors. EA could have a lot of data/analytics in the past to make this call. Madden already did well this season, they are sandbagging their numbers so they do not put unreasonable expectations set up for next year. In business/sales, the numbers of last year form the baseline for next year's expectations. Control says,"You did a 500 mil in profit this past year? Great, you are aim is now 600 mil for next year." Management wishes to see growth sustained, every year. Management would almost be happier seeing 10% growth 2 years in a row, compared to visiting 25% growth in year 1 and then a 1 percent loss per year 2. Even though scenario 2 (a LOT of growth, followed by a small contraction) actually made more money. It's simpler to explain scenario 1 to investors.
