It's mainly the same as every other present manual, with the only change im aware of cheap Dofus Kamas is that they changed the value on vitality runes.It's likely the only part of the Dofus game which hasn't changed. Professions changed along with the Mage UI obtained a massive upgrade, obtained new runes too, however, the mage mechanisms are the exact same.So essentially any manual ought to be OK. Sadly isn't a whole lot out there in English. Perhaps some old-incomplete posts between impsvillage and the Dofus forums but no complete guide as there is a LOT to learn about maging.

1 thing that some people aren't aware of is that rune tiers work great at particular values. Str will neglect almost. But if it has 5 Str, it is going to succeed often. This applies for every rune. But the thresholds for these values aren't documented anywhere, not that I'm aware of.

I started playing with Dofus at 2008 and played until college and a little bit. I was a fan of pvp and have host pvp characters back in the afternoon and today that Dofus retro has become live I can't shake this desire. My concern is, I work fulltime today as an engineer and would only be playing casually so I need to grind out a good deal to have an adequate lvl 50 pvp character, is it hard to reach that level and also make some decent Dofus kamas to buy decent stuff (will only have one account). I had been thinking about purchasing Dofus kamas (Yes, I nearly converted to the dark side) or maybe exchange the ones I've on 2.0 (I've a ton) but I wasn't so sure.Osa can cope somewhat fair of damage (ok int may be not the ideal route for this but if you've got no problems with int and revel in it, stay with it for now, you could always change later), may handle a good deal of situations/quests/challenges etc for the summons and wide range of tools at their disposal. Concerning the support function, Osa bring far more than just heals: you can do a bit of positioning, buff other people with mp, electricity, shield, etc..

Like someone previously said: the interesting factor is the most important, particularly in Dofus sport where you can spent a long long time doing articles. At a preceding guild I was in I had somebody playing mp loss eni and he had rather a succesful and enjoyable time, however it was not meta, maybe not optimal, and compare to other courses that specialize in mp red/damage he couldn't stand the contrast. I never noticed him and dungeon celebration kicked apart or whatever because of his non meta/non best construct: he knew how to play with his build efficently and was enjoying his encounter.

And last but not least: meta modifications continualy, what's FOTM today might become the black sheep of tomorrow (godly chance eca of pre summer patch may tell a lot about this...). I understand that not enjoying with a course"that sucks" is also part of the fun you'll have with your class, but so long as you perform well and don't have any trouble pvm wise, I would say you're fine.I'd state that present Osa is doing good. My buddy is enjoying int osa, lvl 150 and coping 3x500 from dragon. Heals will also be adequate. Chance osa deals dmg than that. It is only that is the reason they aren't liked by some folks in teams and buy dofus kamas echo that osa turns are long. But they are a decent course.
